What this is

Pokespective (this site, pokespective.tech) is a Pokémon TCG market research tool, operated independently by one person. By using it you agree to these terms. If something here does not sit right with you, the simplest remedy is to stop using the site.

Free to use

Everything on this site is free. The front page, Explore, Find, Sets, This week, Movers, Method, every card, set and Pokémon page, and the forecasts can be read with no account at all. A free account adds the parts that are yours, under My cards: your collection, a watchlist with price targets, and a side-by-side comparison of the cards you pick. There is no paid plan and nothing on the site is for sale.

Changes to the service

This is run by one person, not a company with a support department. The operator may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service - including features, account features and the research methodology - at any time, with or without notice. Reasonable notice will be given before a full shutdown where practical, so that you have a chance to note down anything you keep here.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Accounts may be disabled for abuse, attempts to interfere with the service, or violation of these terms. A valid email address is required for new accounts, so a lost password can be recovered. You can ask for your account and everything in it to be deleted at any time through the contact page.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service (including its scheduled data updates), scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or use it to violate any law. Automated, polite use of the public pages for personal research is fine.

Where the data comes from, and who owns what

Card prices, card images and product details come from TCGplayer (via TCGCSV), are collected once a day, and remain the property of their respective owners. They are shown here for research and reference; TCGplayer's own terms restrict their redistribution, and this site grants no further right to them.

Pokémon and all related names, characters and images are trademarks of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. Pokespective is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures or GAME FREAK.

Links to shops, and affiliate links

Card pages link out to shops such as TCGplayer and eBay so you can see current listings. Some of these links may be affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, this site may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. A commission never changes a score, a ranking, a forecast, or which cards are shown - those are computed the same way for every card, whether or not anything links to it.

Not investment advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or trading advice. Every score, forecast, and signal here is a statistical description of past price behaviour in a collectibles market and a measured estimate of how well that description has predicted short-term outcomes - not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Collectible card prices are volatile, the entire measured history here covers a single rising market (2024-2026), and past performance of any signal is not a guarantee of future results. Decisions you make about your own money, including any purchase of physical cards, are yours alone and at your own risk.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Prices are collected once a day from a third-party source and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The "What it cannot tell you" section of the in-app Help describes real, current gaps in what this data can tell you - read it before relying on anything here.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything it shows - including but not limited to financial loss from a decision about physical cards, or the loss of anything you kept in an account. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the last time they were.
