Pokespective (this site, pokespective.tech) is a
Pokémon TCG market research tool, operated independently by one person.
By using it you agree to these terms. If something here does not sit right
with you, the simplest remedy is to stop using the site - there is no
account required for the research itself, and a paid account can be
cancelled by no longer using it (see Refunds below for the purchase itself).
Today, Browse, Compare, Sets, every card report, the forecast, and the printable report are free to read, with no account, and always will be. Creating a free account additionally lets you save a Browse view by name.
Lifetime Supporter is a single, one-time payment that unlocks My Collection, Watchlist and Portfolio Intelligence on your account. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is billed again.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Pokespective service, not a promise that the service exists forever. It is a commitment that, for as long as this site runs, those features stay unlocked on your account - not a guarantee against the service ever changing, being sold, or being discontinued. See "Changes to the service" below for what happens in that case.
This is run by one person, not a company with a support department. The operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service - including features, the research methodology, and pricing for new purchases - at any time, with or without notice. If the service is ever discontinued entirely, Lifetime Supporter accounts will have had full use of the paid features for as long as the service existed, which is the whole of what "lifetime" promises. Reasonable notice will be given before a full shutdown where practical.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Accounts may be disabled for abuse, attempts to interfere with the service, or violation of these terms. A valid email address is required for new accounts, primarily so a lost password can be recovered without contacting the operator directly.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service (including its scheduled data updates), scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or use it to violate any law. Automated, polite use of the public pages for personal research is fine; TCGplayer's own data, reused here under its public terms, carries its own restrictions on redistribution that this site does not extend any further right to.
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or trading advice. Every score, forecast, and signal here is a statistical description of past price behaviour in a collectibles market and a measured estimate of how well that description has predicted short-term outcomes - not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Collectible card prices are volatile, the entire measured history here covers a single rising market (2024-2026), and past performance of any signal is not a guarantee of future results. Decisions you make about your own money, including any purchase of physical cards, are yours alone and at your own risk.
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Prices are collected once a day from a third-party source (TCGplayer, via TCGCSV) and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The "Known limitations" section of the README and the in-app "What this app cannot tell you" panel describe real, current gaps in what this data can tell you - read them before relying on anything here.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything it shows - including but not limited to financial loss from a decision about physical cards. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Lifetime Supporter, if any.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (This line names a placeholder jurisdiction the operator should confirm or change to wherever they are actually based, rather than a researched legal conclusion.)
These terms may be updated as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the last time they were.
