Why ask this

The interest score blends eight measurements, each weighted by how well it has actually preceded price moves in this market rather than by how convincing it sounds. This is the top of that blend, with the reliability check applied first.

How to read the figure

Every card near the top of a percentile ranking scores about the same, so the figure on each row is the ingredient that got it there — seller confidence, a sudden move, a two-month climb. Cards arrive at the same score by very different routes.

How well it has measured

The interest score: Strong and consistent. Across 38 test dates, each scored using only what was knowable that day, cards it ranked in the top tenth beat its bottom tenth by about 19% over the next 60 days on average (rank correlation +0.295). The windows overlap, so that is closer to 13 independent readings than 38, all from one rising market.

Where it can be wrong

A high score is a reason to spend ten minutes on a card, not a reason to buy it. It describes behaviour that is unusual today; it makes no claim about what the card is worth.
